Installations
Most of our documentary storytelling and photography projects projects culminate with an installation of student work. Installations can be temporary or permanent, large or small, depending on available budget. Basic installations feature student photos printed 8"x12" on photo paper and mounted to black-papered bulletin boards. These are typically temporary. For more permanent installations have printed student photos on outdoor vinyl for display in front of the school, on flagpoles, or on fences. The largest installations we have done feature photos printed 8 feet wide and mounted up high, indoors or outdoors, for all to see. Scott has taken many years to master the process of printing and installing artwork. He takes great pride providing a beautiful end result for our visual arts projects.

Scott using a mechanical lift to install 24"x36" photos on canvas up high in a school lobby.

13" x 19" photos printed and stretched on canvas installed at a school in Rincon, Puerto Rico.

For this installation Scott combined photos made by students with his own photos. Scott took pictures for a few days during school, then made selections to represent a day in the life of the school. The photos were printed huge - up to 8 feet wide by 4 feet tall - and Scott used a lift to install them way up high in the school gymnasium.
