Last summer Scott led a one-week photography camp in partnership with Norwich Recreation Department in Vermont. The camp was based around four core elements of photography: Light, Composition, Action and Story. The goal of the camp was to inspire students through the art of photography to explore and document various environments around Norwich. Students were loaned a WSE camera kit for the duration of the camp.

An exhibition of student photos produced during the camp is displayed at the Norwich Post Office.

We met for 5 consecutive days. Our basic daily schedule:

9:00 - 10:00 Classroom, view photographic techniques and artistic approaches

10:00 - 11:00 Outside to make photos, practice techniques and approaches

11:00 - 11:30 Break (eat food, relax)

11:30 - 12:00 Classroom, review photos

12:00 - 1:00 Outside to make photos, new location

Thank you to Saint Barnabas Church for hosting the workshop in the church, and thank you to Mascoma Savings Bank for keeping the cost of the camp affordable for families.

We look forward to offering Photography Camp again in Norwich for summer 2022.
